Spaghetti Squash
So, I am not a fan of zucchini nor spaghetti squash but I decided to give it another go with some homemade sauce (meatless for me & meat for my honey). It was a huge success! I will definitely be eating this more often.

Songs! I love those songs that make you feel like smiling from the inside out! Those ones that make you pour over with joy! The ones that make you so happy you want to cry. This is what this song does for me:

BACK TO THE FUTURE
Irina Werning started a project in 2010 re-photographing old photos of people - same people, matching clothing, scenery, props, positioning. Here are a few of my favorites :

So, I have the best sister-in-law, roommate ever. Yesterday, I was given the news that we are no longer to be roommates and, honestly, I'm a little bit heart broken. I know we've probably gotten on each other's nerves countless times & I will enjoy having my own little home with my new husband but I will definitely severely miss all the good times we've had together... However, with bad news is always good news and we're planning on starting a photography business together. It will start smaller (simply a weekend project in the making) and hopefully one day will be our main source of income. Which means, it's serious business and I must get a camera. Afterall, it was the only thing I have ever had a true, effortless, ongoing passion for. I am so excited for what's to come :) And, isn't this video marvelous?

tattoo fever
I wasn't really sure I would ever say this again... but I'm ready for another tattoo. Before summer's over too.

so many plans, so few accomplishments
This weekend was a blast but, as usual, I didn't manage to accomplish all my plans. I did not go tanning, stayed up to 5:30 a.m. on Saturday night, did not go hiking, and did not borrow any cameras to photograph my meals. However, I DID go to bed at a decent hour on Friday night, had a healthy supplement shake every morning, spend a lot of time with mi amigas, make fresh organic drinks, load up on groceries & goods at the local farmer's market, made food, used disposable cameras, and RELAXED. In the meantime, while I'm saving for a DSLR since my last one was stolen a couple years back, I will share some older photographs of mine.

weekend
Antsy pants for the weekend! Anxious and excited. This weekend I hope to accomplish all that is planned. This weekend I plan to...
go tanning at least once
go tanning at least once
not stay up too late
start each day with an extremely healthy shake full of supplements
spend time with amigas
make fresh, organic, refreshing cocktails & such
go hiking
load up on groceries at the local farmer's market
have enough humility to borrow someone's camera to photograph the foods I make
relax
